In cases where a client accidentally omitted information in a tax return, or did not file at all, we can help by preparing amended tax returns and have software available to prepare tax returns for several previous years.  Many times, when we meet a client for the first time, and review their prior year(s) tax return information, we find overlooked deductions.  In these cases, the client often chooses to have us prepare the amended tax returns, since they are due substantial tax refunds.
